Whatever Your Hand Finds to Do...

Well, this last week has been a week of readjusting ...from reveling in being crowned the "Vacation Queen" ...soaking in the rejuvenating sun and warmth of Florida...

...only to be catapulted back into the reality of my glamorous life as
"The Lysol Queen of the Porcelain Throne."
I just have to keep reminding myself of the scripture in Ecclesiastes 9:10:
"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might..."

Do I look spiritual????

OR...do I resemble the next part of the verse.... "for in the grave, where you are going..." I wonder if that is where the expression "work yourself into an early grave" comes from????

I am now in spiritual quandary...

Should I continue putting my hand to the "plunger"...or put on my swim suit and relax on the couch where the afternoon sunshine penetrates through my large picture window...and pretend I am in some warm, tropical corner of God's creation!?

WWJD?

You are the "queenie" I love to come home to! And I get clean toilets too. I have an awesome life and an awesome wife!

(I'd rather be vacationing with you as well.)

I would have a Mary moment about now. You know how Martha ran around doing, cleaning and the she complained that Mary was doing nothing. Jesus said something like, "Martha, Mary in enjoying the moment and you should to" Nice to meet you BTW...I am elizabeth.

That is a great picture of you :-)
If I were you, I would definitely put the swim suit back on and dream of blue skies, warm sun and the sound of waves.
Either way, you are hilarious :-)

Ha! GREAT picture- I am missing a crown over here while I plunge my toilet. Something seemed amiss yesterday when I was scrubbing my porcelain throne, now I know what it is ;) Thanks for the laugh!

I found your blog while googling for the song:

I am the lysol queen....

I remembered this being on one of the CD's when my son was a babe and now can't remember the gal who sung it :o) Didn't find the musician, but found your blog instead :o) Thanks for the smiles!
