Happy Birthday, Hubby!

On February 22, 1962 the man of my dreams was born. (For those of you trying to do the math, his is 46 today.)

He doesn't like a big ta-doo made over him on his big day. TOO BAD, Sweetie Pie! You really don't have a say. It is MY blog.

We have now been married over half of our lives. Wow. How time flies when you're having fun.

Here's a little pictorial 'blast from the past'.

When I first celebrated your birthday with you in 1984, we were at my house and you received your first infamous cake made by my mom...you turned 22.

You have matured from this 18 year old young man

ready to take on the world...

and this 22 year old guy who swept me off of my feet...

to the wonderful man you are today. Thanks for giving me this half of your life... for being the great dad that you are...

I just wanted to say I love you with all of my heart.

I am looking forward to the second half of our lives...because every year just gets better!

I hope you have a GREAT DAY...

....and enjoy your German Chocolate cake made from scratch by Brianna.

And the breakfast of eggs, bacon, and biscuits
she made for you this morning!

With Brianna taking over all of these Birthday Specials that have been my joy these last 24 years... I feel...well...GREAT!

So NOW what do I do for your big day?

I guess I will take you out to eat...unless Brianna makes you dinner!!!

Happy Birthday! WE LOVE YOU!

Happy Birthday Steve! We love you guys! I think Brianna needs to teach me a thing or two on baking. The cake looks tasty.

Oh my goodness!!! I am so glad I knew you guys at the beginning of your life together. I loved the early years pics you posted. You have a beautiful family. And wow, Brianna, your cooking skills are quite impressive.

Happy Birthday Steve. You and Mary Beth were such a wonderful blessing to me and Tim during the "Camden years". Those are the type of memories that stay with a person all their life. Thanks for you ministry to us.

Happy Birthday, Steve! We hope you have a GREAT day and we just have to say that if Daniel gets called "Little Joe" then the same could be said for Weston... he's a "Little Steve". It's amazing how much Weston looks like Steve's teen & twenties photos!!! x's & o's

Too bad I didn't know this last night at sectional council. I would have led the Thumb section in a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday" while he was leading our business meeting! Oh what fun that would have been for everyone else! :D Happy Birthday, Steve!

Happy Birthday Steve...If I read this blog earlier I would have said something at the reception. Today is Roy Brown's BD and it was my dad's BD...I am so glad we had an opportunity to minister together. (even though I almost ruined our friendship by making you be Jesus in our Easter cantata.
By the way have you forgiven me.)
Thanks for being a great leader.
Love
Sis Clay

Remember us? Your "old neighbors" on Corvallis St? You haven't aged a bit.
We really enjoyed your blog and seeing how the kids have grown.
Hope you had a happy birthday!
